Pictures sent by Pactor 1July 2003

This mode of transmitting pictures is the culmination of 4 years of trials with other modes such as slow scan TV, and finally Pactor I.

The pictures are perfect, " FEC" Forward Error Corrected in a binary file format...which means number and signs that translate into the pixels which ultimately form these pictures. After years of work and frustration... these small pictures are the first step in the process being able to send out pictures with out being bound to satellite transmission or spending days searching for an internet link on the Amazon. I will be progressing to the Pactor III mode shortly, ...a mode which will allow me to send 12 times faster... ultimately transmitting pictures of about 50 Kb in size, ...direct from the Amazon Queen.
