May 31, Monday MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAY TODAY
I sent this message to any & all parties who might be involved in this Memorial day observation. Thank you. My father survived the Infantry invasion of Omaha Beach, Normandy plus getting blown sky high from the concussion of a German tank. Finally he was on fire with chemicals sticking to his body & severely burned where other men rolled him on the ground to extinguish the flames. He survived all of that only to die in 1997 from the seeds which were planted from back then. I am very deeply saddened by a loss which did not have to be. -- Marty

Yesterday he had everything on sked and was on the way to take Lisa to school when Beto called and said he crashed his bike on the freeway when a car cut him off. Beto even borrowed a friend's bike later to take the ignition key into Bogota after he forgot it. Today Beto needs an early ride to Bogota to Univ., but Harry will try to help the net for a while, but will arrive late.
